| Job Information | Writes creative copy and assists in editing and execution for all essential and significant
written donor communications processes in both physical and electronic format. Execute
the delivery and tracking of all e-communications originating from the Development
office. Stays current on Social Networking and Enabling Technology and recommends
how they are employed within Teen Mania Development; stay current with Teen
Mania’s “Web Presence” strategy.
Primary functions:
• Writes copy for direct mail campaigns
• Writes and executes email campaigns
• Write essential communication pieces with major donors
• Aids in the copywriting and editing for any additional projects that come under the
purview of the departments such as the annual report, e-newsletters, donor conversion
processes, special event copy, etc.
• Minimal responsibilities coordinating with Honor Academy Interns.
Requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent writing skills (i.e. grammar, spelling, structure, etc.)
• Friendly, diplomatic, outgoing, and engaging
• Type 40 WPM plus.
• Working with communications enabling technologies (i.e. Internet, Social
Networking, Technology convergence, etc.)
Mature attitude to deal with the intensity of the ministry
• Self-motivated- Penchant for detail and accuracy
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in Outlook, Word & Excel, and can learn
Knowledge/Experience and Skills:
• High Organizational skills
• Creative and out-of-the-box ways to make people feel wanted, appreciated and
cared for
• Ability to be self-motivated, take initiative and ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to anticipate needs of people
• Ability to communicated effectively to any type of correspondence (email, letter,
phone)
